There is no wonder our kids are killing themselves and falling into darkness. These are considered clean, but the content warnings for these books listed are disturbing. Death, death of a child, death of a parent, alcoholism, abandonment, ableism, war, blood, violence, toxicity, child abuse, emotional abuse, classism, animal cruelty, confinement, excrement (? wow), police brutality, slavery, racism, misogyny, pedophilia, drug use/abuse, kidnapping. I suppose the warnings have to be listed out for those with extra sensitivity to the world, but gah. This is nuts.
